About Us

Matt Troyer was born in Goshen, Indiana in 1969. He grew up in Denver, Colorado & graduated high school in 1988. He then attended Mesa State College & Metro State college.

In 1991 Matt relocated to Missoula, Montana after throwing a dart at a map of the United States. He knew after arriving in Missoula that Montana was right for him. He instantly fell for the clean air, clean water and wide open spaces. He has since lived in Arlee, Ennis and Bozeman.  In 2012 Matt relocated his company and family back to Colorado.
Matt graduated from World Wide College of Auctioneering in 1998. He is a 3rd generation auctioneer and has been involved in the auction industry his entire life. Matt says that some of his earliest memories are of attending auctions with his family. In 2002 his father Harley Troyer was inducted into the Colorado Auctioneering Hall of Fame. Matt has always been involved with the family auction business who’s Colorado Draft Horse & Equipment Auction is entering its 30th year.

Currently Matt applies his bid calling skills on a weekly basis for auto auctions in the Colorado area which he has done for the past 17 years. Matt enjoys fishing, hunting, playing guitar, tinkering with cars and collecting vinyl records. When not conducting auctions Matt and his wife Yvonne greatly enjoy attending them. They also like to travel and hunt for antiques and collectibles. Matt & Yvonne are most proud of their two sons, Wyatt Mattheson and Casey James, ages 4 and 1-1/2.  The Troyers currently reside in Longmont, Colorado with their pet dog and cat.

Our consignment form must be completed and faxed/mailed to us along with fee’s.

No. Due to stall limitations we must cut off consignments before the auction.
